I didn't see how you would put it for 360 but viewing in a vr headset like a quest 3, the 8k in UA-cam vr look really nice for a consumer 360 camera, can the 360 videos be cropped to look like a vr 180?

hi, thanks for your really great videos. I have a rather urgent question, i read that x4 has a mode that it can wake up and click a photo and go back to sleep/off. I would like to set it so that it keeps clicking photos every 1 minute or 5 minutes. Is that possible?

Hi Jordan. I am heading to Glacier National Park in 10 days (July 11, 2024) Just got a GoPro Hero 11. Hoping to use it while hiking to take some video and photos. Figured it would be a lot lighter than my DSLR on the long hikes. I am brand new to GoPro. What setting would you suggest for photos in the mountains? and for videos? Fun fact. I ordered your book before I found your video. I have the book in both formats and plan to take it with me on the trip. Got the hard copy to keep in my backpack while I am hiking just incase I can't access the kindle version on my phone.

Thank you so much! I've been filming a dance group that performs in parades. And you can see in the footage every step I take. Guess I'm a heavy walker. Just got my Hero 12 and the difference in my shots is incredible. I got the huge accessory pack as well and if it wasn't for this video, I wouldn't know how to change the settings or use any of the things it came with. Now, off to buy that book!

which Tripod you use with GoPro hero 12 black

This camera is a piece of sh*t, including the few last cameras GoPro has introduced. I bought 3 of them: the black mini, the 11, and the 12. All of them came defect, freezing while audio kept going... please don't buy GoPro, unless you choose to buy older cameras.

So I got a used one how do I reset it to get it on my phone?😊

thank you HatTrick. this was a nice little into to my new camera, and def saved me time.. for anyone starting on this.. i filmed in the default 24fps the first time, and i walk in my vids.. so it was choppy. I went back to the 30, (and sometimes 60) on the GP's I USED to use...

does it choose phone brand to get compatible? I cannot activate it using my android?

I love Quik. But it won’t let me speed up my up or slow down my videos. I’m subscribed to the premium version. I had to uninstall the app 2 times. It works then. The. It stops after a few days

Don't buy this camera. It's the worst thing I spent my money on. Scratched up so quickly, can't replace lens, have to pay for the app, connecting to the app trouble. It's a BS design as system.

I’m very skeptical only because every GoPro lens cover I’ve used tends to leak. It’s not an issue in rain or a waterfall. But surfing for hours, they’ve all let water in and it’s actually destroyed two of my GoPros. I’m hoping the max lens mod isn’t as bad.

How is this camera for close up video work? I make craft videos and tutorials and would love to make more but it can be difficult to record videos with a larger camera or my phone over my work space.

Your setup video is much better than the "official" setup materials from GoPro itself. I wish I had watched this first before unboxing mine! I'm going to have to go back and re-watch some parts because you moved so quickly, but I understand your need to do so in order to get all the information in. I've gotten lazy with my digital SLR camera; the GoPro appears to be more like my older cameras on which the user had to set shutter speed, aperture, etc. I got a GoPro to use on an upcoming trip so I have several months to experiment and learn the settings and how to use them. Many thanks for your excellent work.

The x3 was big enough. Can’t believe they may the x4 even bigger… I am keeping my X3 for now.

Hi Jordan, great video. Super easy to understand my DJI action 4. Question, when I followed your instructions I found my Action 4 was getting really warm. Is that normal, as I read other reviews that these don’t heat up. It was a primary reason I bought it, or perhaps I confused getting warm with reduction in battery life. Could the warmth of the device be due to my video settings at 4K? Although I only recorded for 10 seconds, the warmth of the DJI Action4 concerned me. Thanks for your help and I’ll order that book on Amazon today!
